When you think of wedding venues, the San Francisco City Hall may not be the first location that comes to mind. In fact, this historic landmark is not only the center of government for the county of San Francisco, it is one of the most gorgeous event venues in the city.
Commonly known as the People’s Palace, San Francisco City Hall is most famous for it’s behemoth size dome that is 306 feet high and covered with 24 karat gold. This is not just any government building. The elegant architectural design makes City Hall the crown jewel of San Francisco. You can say ‘I do’ with stunning views of the Mayor’s Balcony or the Fourth Floor Gallery. You and your significant other can make your reception entrance on the Grand Staircase of the Rotunda surrounded by family and friends.
The venue offers a number of wedding packages and spaces depending on the couple’s needs. From one hour reservations for ceremonies only to full evenings packages that include areas for dancing and dinner. City Hall also has full time wedding coordinators to assist you with all your needs.
